ÚJHARTYÁN, ON THE COUNTRY'S ARTERY
Újhartyán, a small town of nearly 3,000 inhabitants, is in the south of Pest County, the geographical center of Hungary. The municipality, proud of its German national roots, was granted city status in 2013. The societal and economic indicators are above the county and national average. The services play a large part of the local economy, but the companies operating in the industrial park are the main economic strength of the municipality. The local government committed to realizing developments based on innovation and the preservation of tradition.
